Walking tour description
We will pick you up right at your hotel or at an agreed place in Olomouc. After we´ll drive with a comfortable air-conditioned car to the Roznov pod Radhostem in Wallachia, in the Moravian-Silesian Beskydy Mountains.
The first stop will be The Wallachian Village, one of the most important tourist destinations and a part of the Wallachia region. The largest and oldest open-air museum in Central Europe was founded in 1925 and almost 100 monumental objects are located in its three expositions, the Wooden Town, the Wallachian Village and the Mill Valley.
The Wallachian Village is the largest open-air museum in Wallachia. Farmhouses, farm buildings, mill and forge are located in the countryside, which reminds of its many villages on the hillsides of the Beskydy Mountains.
Our next stop will be the city of Stramberk. In a mountain town, spread over the steep slopes of several hills, you will be enchanted by the charming streets and wooden timbered houses from the 18th and 19th centuries, which make Stramberk famous Wallachian Bethlehem.
What you need to taste
If you like regional gastronomic specialties and you are looking for delicacies that you will not otherwise enjoy, you can look forward to the Stramberk ears, a special pastry made of gingerbread and the shape of curled ears.
Twenty kilometers from Roznov, near the top of Radhost Mountain, lies Pustevny, a mountain resort, whose first cozy was designed by Slovak architect Dusan Jurkovic. Today Libusin serves as a restaurant and Mamenka is a mountain hotel. Both objects are managed by the Wallachian Museum in nature. On March 3, 2014, the Libusin facility burnt out and is currently out of service.
An easy 5km tour is suitable for families and seniors and can be 100% customized to your wishes. We choose the ideal route according to your physical condition. It´s hard to get to Beskydy Mountain without a car from Olomouc. This tour is wonderful all year round!

- Pick up at your hotel

- 1 bottle of water
- Entrance to The Wallachian Village
